I love this birthday card as part of my simple card making layouts to choose from.

This card was stamped the same way with the same ink pads – Melon Mambo, Daffodil Delight, Old Olive, Pear Pizzazz, Coastal Cabana, Crushed Curry and Black Memento. I simply cut it different.

measurements:

  • Basic White Thick – 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″, scored and folded at 4 1/4″
  • Coastal Cabana – 3 1/4″ x 4 1/4″
  • Basic White – 3″ x 4″
  • Coastal Cabana – 1 5/8″ x 3 3/8″
  • Basic White – 1 1/2″ x 3 1/4″

I loved adding the New Matte Black Dots to step this card up a little bit!

This simple card making idea features the stamps from Stampin Up Pretty Perennials to make your own background paper.

This card was copied from the January-June 2021 Mini Catalog on page 31 using the Pretty Perennials Stamp Set, Painted Labels Dies and Pool Party Sheer Ribbon!

measurements:

  • Basic White Thick Cardstock – 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″, scored and folded at 4 1/4″
  • Pool Party Scrap to cut with Painted Labels Dies and small sentiment
  • Melon Mambo – 2 1/4″ x 2 1/2″
The bright Melon Mambo and Yellow ink really perk up this simple card making idea.

I created this card on the video for the beginner stamper. I know when you start off stamping you may not have dies or ribbon. So, I made the card with only three colors and black ink. I shared on the video the inspiration from the Mini Catalog to make this card. Inspiration can be found in all of the Stampin’ Up! catalogs!
