Make A Gift Box So Any Thank-You Gift Stands Out! | Easy Paper Craft

Gallery· Gifts & 3D Paper Projects· Thank You

22 Feb

Can you make a gift box a delightful and eye-catching surprise? Absolutely and I can’t wait to show you how easy this paper craft is!

Earlier this month, I had the pleasure of attending a business conference in Arizona with some friends. Having recently received the new Mini Catalog I quickly ordered the Square Pillow Boxes. I thought these would be a great option to make pillow gifts.

While brainstorming ideas, it dawned on me that the Cactus Socks I had purchased for my friends would neatly fit inside the Square Pillow Boxes. It was a serendipitous discovery, making the presentation of the gifts even more delightful.

I aimed to make these gifts truly special, so I incorporated the ‘Tailor Made Tags’ and the ‘So Sincere’ Stamp Set in making these boxes. The significance of having friends is immense to me, and I wanted to ensure that they felt truly cherished.

As I deliberated on color schemes and contemplated the perfect Designer Series Paper, my attention was captivated by the elegant Pretty Peacock & Gold Ribbon featured in the current Mini Catalog. Opting for a touch of sophistication, I paired it with the ‘Hello, Irresistible’ Designer Series Paper found in the online exclusives store. These added a layer of charm and beauty to the overall gift presentation.

🎁 Now that you’ve learned how to make a gift box what would you like to fill it with? What designer papers do you envision using?

Make A Gift Box Assembly Style

For efficient production of multiple gift boxes, I set up a streamlined process. I cut out all the Tags from Pretty Peacock cardstock and then proceeded to stamp and emboss each one using Versamark and Gold Embossing Powder. To enhance the tags further, I utilized the luxurious Gold Foil Paper, providing sturdy reinforcement and elevating the overall appeal of the gift boxes. This method not only ensures consistency but also adds a touch of elegance to every box made in the process.

I added some ‘Simply Elegant Trim’ to tie the Pretty Peacock and Gold Ribbon and then tied more trim around the pillow boxes.

For the Designer Series Paper, I first die-cut it with the ‘Stylish Shapes’ and then added them to the pillow boxes with glue.

I realized that I should have tried to stamp on the boxes before I put them together, and on the video, you saw me do that! I hope you are inspired to make a gift box (or 2 or 20!) and can get creative with what you fill them with. From cactus socks to candy, there are fun and beautiful ways to surprise your friends!

Plus on the video I show how to cover the boxes with Designer Series Paper!
