How to Make 3 Charming Greeting Cards With One Stamp Set

Birthday Cards· Gallery· Uncategorized

21 Jan

I’m going to show you how to make 3 charming greeting cards with one stamp set! There is also a coordinating craft punch. It’s quick, easy and stinkin’ cute!

Y’all the Stampin’ Up! Under My Umbrella with Umbrella Builder Punch is an adorable bundle!

Anytime I can use my craft punches for handmade greeting cards I am a happy gal!

Today I made 3 charming greeting cards using the punch and various designer series papers!  I used Tropical Oasis Designer Series Paper for the rain boots on my card!  I am not much of a fussy cutter with scissors but when you have straight lines it’s quick and easy!  Having the boots match the umbrella was too good to pass up!

Stampin’ Up! introduced several new punches in the Mini Catalog that started January 3,2020 and I have heard from my Stamping Friends they want them all! If you haven’t received your New Mini Catalog you can request one from me HERE for Free.  (USA residents only)

The first card I made didn’t have the red heart on it.  I did a poll on my Facebook page which people liked better and after reading all of the comments it was 50/50!  Which one do you like better?  With the hearts or without?

Charming Greeting Card #1 Measurements:

  • Whisper White Thick Cardstock – 4 1/4″ x 11″
  • Real Red Cardstock – 4″ x 5 1/4″
  • Whisper White Cardstock – 3 3/4″ x 5″
  • Tropical Oasis Designer Series Paper – scrap for punch

I kept looking at the card above and decided it was too much white space.  One comment that I got said to add more raindrops and that would have worked too.  The best part about paper crafting is that you can be creative either with more raindrops or with the Punched out Heart!

When you start playing with the Under My Umbrella Bundle you will find so many things you can do like put the flowers in an upside down umbrella!

Having a black Stampin’ Blend allowed me to color the basic rhinestone jewels black.  I considered using one of the other Stampin’ Blends I used (Lovely Lipstick, Pineapple Punch or Granny Apple Green) but went with Black instead and I loved it.  This was a quick card using the Stitched Framelit Dies, Pineapple Punch and Whisper White Cardstock.  This card is going to my 7 year old granddaughter for her birthday!

Charming Greeting Card #2 Measurements:

  • Whisper White Thick Cardstock – 4 1/4″ x 11″
  • Pineapple Punch Cardstock – scrap to use with Dies
  • Whisper White Cardstock – scrap to use with Dies
  • Golden Honey Specialty Designer Series Paper (SAB) – for punch

Couldn’t resist pulling in the Adorable Little Ladybug Host Cling Stamp set.  You can get this stamp set when your order (or combined orders with friends) is over $300.  She fit inside the umbrella just perfectly!  Once again coloring the Basic Rhinestones this time with Rich Razzleberry.  Pool Party and Whisper White cardstock were the only ones used on this card.  All of the these cards used minimal supplies and are perfect for new stampers or seasoned stampers for quick easy cards.

Charming Greeting Card #3 Measurements:

  • Pool Party Cardstock – 4 1/4″ x 11″
  • Whisper White Cardstock – 4″ x 5 1/4″
  • Peaceful Moments Designer Series Paper – scrap for umbrella
