How to use Stampin’ Up! Embossing Mats that are new in the 2018-2019 Annual Catalog?  I have a video and a downloadable PDF to help you with learning how to use the Embossing Mats!

Enjoy the video below and let me know if you have any questions.

Using the Embossing Mats and your Framelits to create embossed images on your backgrounds is absolutely stunning and gives you more ways to use the Framelits!

How to use Stampin' Up! Embossing Mats

As I mentioned on my video I took a picture of the instruction sheet and blew it up so that I could see it better!  Then I edited the sandwiching photo to help you and myself!

To help you even further I created a PDF with easy to follow steps to do the sandwich.  Before you grab these make sure you look at the cards I created at the bottom of this post!  Also, in the video you hear me mention that I prefer reversing the plates so that I can see better.

Here are some photos using the mats versus not using them to Emboss using the Framelits as shown on the video.

May Flowers using the Blue Mat and the Gray Mat, remember that your Big Shot may be different than mine.

You can use the Standard sandwich to emboss but as you can see it embossed but very lightly.  Depending on what look you are after.  Me I prefer the deep embossed look with the gray Embossing Mat!

Cards Create with Embossing Mats

Here are two cards that I created using the pieces I embossed on the video!  Swoon!!!!

Since Serene Garden does not have any sentiments I grabbed a new Stamp Set called Stitched All Around to add to my cards using Memento ink on Whisper White Cardstock.  A simple layer of Basic Black Cardstock really popped these cards.

The final card Daffodil Delight Stampin’ Blends to the rescue for coloring.

Enjoy using your new Embossing Mats!

Good morning, Sharon. Came across this video on pinterest and was very glad to have a better explanation for the embossing mats. Like your video better than some others. Don’t have one yet, but it’s on my “want” list. So glad to have met you. Thank you for your instructions. Susan
