It’s time to reveal this week’s Mystery Monday Stamping card — and this one is such a great reminder to look at your Designer Series Paper a little differently. And this easy card gives you a unique pocket card!
The pocket also makes this layout really versatile — you could easily slip in a gift card, a note, or even a small tag. It’s a simple twist that adds a lot of impact without extra work.
If you joined me live, you saw how this came together step by step. And if you’re catching the replay, you’re going to love how simple this layout is with a really unique twist.

The Finished Cards
This week’s design features a clean, layered layout that lets your paper do the work.
What makes this card special is that we’re using both sides of the Designer Series Paper — something we don’t always do. Most of the time, we pick our favorite side and never see the other again.

One of my favorite parts of this design is that it’s a pocket card. It’s such a fun way to tuck your sentiment inside, and it makes the card feel a little more interactive for the person receiving it.
One version keeps it simple and clean, letting the paper and ribbon shine. The second version steps it up with die cuts and embellishments, showing how easy it is to take the same base design and create a completely different look.
The Technique: Using Both Sides of Your DSP
This is one of those ideas that feels obvious once you see it — but it can completely change how you use your paper.

- You get more value out of every sheet
- You don’t have to choose a “favorite side.”
- The contrast between patterns creates natural interest
- It adds dimension without adding bulk
Because the paper is folded and layered to show both sides, your card automatically has more depth and detail.

Two Ways to Finish Your Card
Keep It Simple:
- Designer Series Paper
- Cardstock
- Ribbon
- Sentiment
Clean, quick, and perfect for making multiples.
Step It Up:
- Add die-cut flowers
- Add embellishments (like the InColor Butterflies)
- Layer additional elements for dimension
Same layout… completely different feel.
