Here Are Easy Cards to Make That Will Bring Delight to Someone’s Day

Cards for Friends· Easy Cards· Gallery

1 Jun

I love card making and I especially love it when I have quick and easy cards to make because then I make a bunch to have on hand ready to mail!

I think easy card making ideas start with the basics—stamps, paper, markers, and a black ink pad. Keepin’ it simple but we still come out with beautiful projects.

I started with the new ‘Shaded Summer’ stamp set by Stampin’ Up! I’ve got some helpful tips on coloring on your stamps so be sure and watch the video all the way through.

These are easy cards to make with just a few markers, a little cardstock and the Stampin' Up! shaded summer stamp set.

Ready to Make some easy Cards? Which Design Will You Start With?

Easy cards to make start with a focal stamp and then add layers of cardstock.

I used the Stampin’ Write Markers to color the smaller cluster of flowers and leaves. Remember, the markers dry quickly so exhale on the stamp before stamping on your cardstock.

Another reminder, do NOT use Alcohol based markers, like Stampin’ Blends, to color your stamps as they will stain your stamps and will not work for this technique. Stick with water based markers and you’ll see how easy the cards are to make!

This was an easy card to make focusing on a monochromatic color scheme.

There’s nothing more striking than black and Poppy Parade so I paired it with the ‘True Love’ designer paper (retiring in June). This was an easy card to make that packs a wow!
