I love card making and I especially love it when I have quick and easy cards to make because then I make a bunch to have on hand ready to mail!
I think easy card making ideas start with the basics—stamps, paper, markers, and a black ink pad. Keepin’ it simple but we still come out with beautiful projects.
I started with the new ‘Shaded Summer’ stamp set by Stampin’ Up! I’ve got some helpful tips on coloring on your stamps so be sure and watch the video all the way through.

Ready to Make some easy Cards? Which Design Will You Start With?

I used the Stampin’ Write Markers to color the smaller cluster of flowers and leaves. Remember, the markers dry quickly so exhale on the stamp before stamping on your cardstock.
Another reminder, do NOT use Alcohol based markers, like Stampin’ Blends, to color your stamps as they will stain your stamps and will not work for this technique. Stick with water based markers and you’ll see how easy the cards are to make!

There’s nothing more striking than black and Poppy Parade so I paired it with the ‘True Love’ designer paper (retiring in June). This was an easy card to make that packs a wow!
