Card Making Techniques

13 Jul

As a card maker techniques take your handmade cards to another level and today I held a Stamp Along with my viewers on Youtube! I am a big believer in helping others feel confident in their card-making.

Those who are on my newsletter list received the cutting instructions ahead of time so that they could Stamp Along with me! This is something new that I have started doing once a month with my viewers. I invite you to join us and whether you stamp along with me or simply watch first and stamp later is totally up to you!

The stamp set that I chose is Dainty Delights and the coordinating Dainty Delights Dies. My color choices are Orchid Oasis, Parakeet Party, Basic White, and Basic Black for all of my cards. Enjoy my cards!

Watch this video to learn how i created

I hope that you will stamp along with the video

If you will stamp these two images first and cut them out you will be ready to assemble.

Watercolor Block Technique

The Block Watercolor Technique was shared in my first Technique Class in October 2022 if you missed that you can see it here

If you will use Watercolor paper you will have better results, however, you could use Basic White Thick or retired Shimmy White Cardstock.

More Water fun!

This card was created using the Water Painter first on the Fluid Watercolor Paper, then adding drops of ink refill of Orchid Oasis and Parakeet Party. You need to let this dry completely while you are working on the other cards! Once it’s dry use the Exposed Brick 3D Embossing Folder then assemble the card.

I love these two colors together because it reminds me of a dress I had years ago that was my favorite dress!

Below is a FREE DOWNLOAD; it’s my way of thanking you for visiting my blog!
