Sponging and Stamping Cards: Sending Sunshine Your Way

Card Making Techniques· Gallery

4 Aug

I’m sending sunshine your way today with some sponging and stamping cards and I know you’ll want to make these after watching the video tutorial!

No matter the occasion this sunny card will brighten anyone’s day!  As I was playing with ‘Sending Sunshine’ stamp set from Stampin’ Up! I realized that it paired so well with the June Paper Pumpkin kit!  I am sure that this was very intentional on Stampin’ Up!’s part!

What a perfect opportunity to teach you sponging and stamping cards and masking techniques too!

What is happening with TxStampin Sharon these days?

Many of you know that I moved from Arizona back to Texas in June.  A lot has happened in a short time!  Moving is exhausting but I could not be happier!  We have moved to Kyle, TX and are very close to one our daughters and her husband!  They are expecting their first child in August and our 10th grandchild!  A few weeks ago we had a virtual baby shower for her at my home.  Her sisters and sister in law came down for the shower.  The rest of the guests popped in on ZOOM!  While it was a different way to have a baby shower it really was a lot of fun!

We had brunch for her first that included Pancakes, French Toast, Sausage, Eggs, Bacon and fresh squeezed orange juice!  Here are a few photos from the shower!
