Simple Masculine Card Anyone? Check Out This Free Tutorial

Easy Cards· Gallery· Masculine Cards· Mystery Stamping Cards

21 Aug

Simple masculine card ideas are always on my list of tutorials to keep within reach and since it’s been a while since I made a card for the guys I thought the timing was perfect!

When I added the die-cut fish and the greeting I giggled and thought, ‘Do we really congratulate someone when they catch a fish?’ Yes, absolutely! I mean… you can spend hours holding that pole trying to catch a fish so it is a great accomplishment when you snag one!

Since I wanted to get this simple masculine card right I asked my husband if I had the fishing lures going in the right direction before I adhered my designer paper down. I love the prints from the, ‘Let’s Go Fishing’ designer series paper pack.

One of my favorite techniques to use when I make a card for the guys is to emboss the designer paper layers along with a cardstock layer.
