Partial embossing on white cardstock is an easy way to make an elegant handmade card. When you see the cards I have to share I bet you’ll want to run and grab your favorite folders and test out some partial embossing ideas of your own!

- Regular – 4 1/2″ x 6 1/4″
- Large – 6″ x 6 1/4″
- Mini- 3 3/8″ x 6 1/4″– will work in either the Mini Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine or the full size Cut & Emboss Machine
I love the mini folders and found them perfect for creating partial embossing to make some elegant cards.
Using flowers from the gorgeous ‘Hues of Happiness’ DSP makes this card super simple and gorgeous too!

partial embossing On THank You Card & Birthday Cards
Start by embossing the top and bottom of a white cardstock layer leaving space between the embossed design–that’s what makes it partial embossing. Next, stamp a greeting in between the embossed design.
This partially embossed card would make a pretty handmade Wedding Card, don’t you think? You can stamp “congratulations” and use florals that match the Bride’s colors.
There are many pretty flowers in the ‘Hues of Happiness’ Designer Series Paper. I chose 3 floral colors to share today. I am going to make up some more cards and I’ll wait to stamp the greetings on them until I know the occasion and time to mail them.
On this card, I partially embossed the top 3/4th of the cardstock so that I could stamp on the bottom right corner.
