I was thrilled by the Paper Pumpkin Inspiration that came my way and I set out to share a number of alternate projects to encourage you in your kit creativity too!
I was inspired by the May 2022 Paper Pumpkin Kit. It’s fun to assemble the cards according to the instructions but like I tell you in Mystery Stamping….don’t be afraid to ‘Go rogue’. That’s what I did by adding a few extra supplies I had on hand.
I thought the Paper Pumpkin Inspiration was perfect fun to share with my Mystery Monday Stampers! I think they got a kick out of how to make the rounded corners on these cards!
After I completed the cards in the kit my Paper Pumpkin Inspiration led me to design the below card

There were odd-shaped pieces of cardstock with score lines in the paper pumpkin; instead of using them as intended, I found a different way to use them. I cut the cardstock on the score lines and put two on the card front as shown in the image.

On this card I used the ‘odd shaped’ piece + 4 of the ‘Parakeet Party’ strips that came in the kit!
2022-2024 In Color Designer Series Paper was used for the layer, and the gold edge card and the In Color Matte Dots came from the kit.

Want more Paper Pumpkin inspiration? Trim a layer from the card kit down and add a 4″ x 5 1/4″ piece of Orchid Oasis Cardstock.
Since this card had a beautiful gold curvy edge I decided to add a piece of cardstock inside that I stamped on using the splatter-type image from the Paper Pumpkin kit.
I was tempted to color the ‘Happy’ with my Stampin’ Blends but I chose not to because the Blends can bleed through and I didn’t want that for the back of the card.
