Beauty Of The Deep: Ocean Themed Cards You’ll Love To Make

Cards for Friends· Gallery

27 Apr

Ocean themed cards are on my mind! I am at the beach with my family this week so that inspired me to create and share ideas from the new ‘Beauty of the Deep’ stamp set from Stampin’ Up! I loved creating these cards and my love for the beach gave me the idea to make an aquarium card which I framed in black.

This particular stamp set does not have any greetings in it so I pulled out ‘Circle Sayings’ to stamp my greeting. Want to switch it up? You’ll see when you watch the video tutorial that I pulled out Misty Moonlight cardstock for the 2nd aquarium card.

Starting May 2, 2023 the new catalog launches. Be sure and put these stamp sets on your wish list along with the new ink and cardstock colors that I’m sharing today. Stampin’ Up! rolled out a big color re-fresh. Lots of brand new colors as well as some returning favorites too. Your ocean themed cards will look fresh and exciting in some of these new colors!

Which ocean themed aquarium card do you prefer? The one with Black cardstock or Misty Moonlight? I can’t wait to read your thoughts!

This last ocean-themed card was super easy and fun. Grab your Simply Scored tool and add texture to the bottom of your card panel. Next, stamp the coral and sand. Finish your card with the 2-3/8” circle punch (punch is offered as a bundle with the Circle Sayings stamp set), and some bright-colored embellishments.

PINTEREST-ING!
