Hey y’all! This week’s Mystery Monday Stamping is solved, and we’re celebrating with a beautiful fall birthday card with hot foil leaves! I used Cajun Craze cardstock, Sunflower Fields Designer Series Paper, and Stampin’ Up!’s Lustrous Leaves Hot Foil Dies to create a handmade card with gorgeous metallic details. And the best part? This card design is easy to recreate with supplies you already have!
One of my favorite things about Mystery Monday Stamping is that everyone starts with the same clues, but our finished cards can look completely different! That’s the beauty of using what you have and letting your creativity take over.
And remember our Mystery Monday rules: No stress, go rogue, and use what you have!

Let’s Solve This Week’s Mystery!
For our October 12, 2026, Mystery Monday Stamping, we started with a simple card base, a piece of Designer Series Paper, and a few scraps of cardstock.
The mystery began with stamping a large sentiment and two images that could be cut out using dies, punches, or snips.
As we followed the clues, our card started coming together! We added Designer Series Paper to the card front, created a coordinating cardstock Matt for our sentiment, and positioned two decorative images in opposite corners.
The final touch? A few embellishments to add just the right amount of sparkle!
Mystery solved!
What I love about this card design is how versatile it is. Change the sentiment, the Designer Series Paper, or the images, and you can create a completely different card. Think birthdays, thank-you cards, thinking-of-you cards, or even Christmas cards!

How I Made My Fall Birthday Card With Hot Foil
For my Mystery Monday card, I chose Cajun Craze cardstock and ink to create a warm fall color combination.
The background features Sunflower Fields Designer Series Paper, which coordinates beautifully with the rich Cajun Craze color.
But those leaves are what really make this card special!
I used the Lustrous Leaves Hot Foil Dies with the Sunflower Fields Designer Series Paper to create the gorgeous metallic leaf designs. I love how the foil catches the light and brings out the details in each leaf!
The birthday greeting comes from the Poetic Petals Stamp Set, and a few Adhesive-Backed Metallic Gems add the finishing touch.
This is such a fun way to combine traditional stamping with something new!
