Great friends are the best and today I wanted to make an awesome card for a friend that’s beautiful and simple!
Let me show you how to make a simple card and then step it up a little bit for a 2nd card you’re sure to love too.
It’s absolutely true that friends ‘get you’ and it’s always a great time to send cards to friends. The Stampin’ Up! ‘All Things Fabulous’ stamp set was perfect for this card.
When you first look at this stamp set you’ll see that the acetate sheet that comes with is is stamped with numbers such as 1A, 1B, 1C — this is to guide you so that your hand stamped card comes out perfectly. Be sure and watch the video all the way through so you see the process in action.

Whether you have only a few ink pads or many you’ll be able to make this awesome card for a friend in no time!
Stamp the greeting in Memento Tuxedo Black Ink and then build your flowers around it on both cards. When you are done stamping you can add some Wink of Stella for a fabulous and fun glitter look.

I love creating beautiful handmade greeting card designs and this project was especially fun because it uses a number of techniques. Watching the flowers ‘come to life’ with simple layers of stamped color, using a mask to create the leaves….just makes an awesome card and your friend will LOVE it!

Measurements
- Whisper White Thick Cardstock – 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″, scored and folded at 4 1/4″
- Soft Seafoam Cardstock – 4″ x 5 1/4″
- Scrap of Whisper White for stamping flowers, leaves and sentiment
