Gold-Dipped Christmas Cards With Festive Hues of Color
Step-by-Step Guide to Making Your Gorgeous Gold-Dipped Christmas Cards
- You can start with the Gold-Dipped Cards and Envelopes and choose which one you want to use for your card base. You have 3 color choices; pick one that complements the images or sentiments you wish to use. I recommend you consider purchasing one or both of the ephemera pack choices–Joyful Images (item #164110) Ephemera pack or Joyful Sayings (item #164109) Ephemera pack .
- Choose images and sentiments for coordinating cards: snowflakes for Blue, Christmas trees for Green, and festive greetings for Red.
- Arrange your design: Before adhering anything, lay out your chosen pieces on the card to find the perfect arrangement. Don’t be afraid to overlap elements for a layered look and add some with Dimensionals!
- Add Gold Accents: Incorporate touches of gold to make your card shine. This could be a gold foil piece from the ephemera pack, gold embellishments, or a gold ribbon. Gold adds a touch of elegance that’s perfect for the holidays.
- Adhere Everything: Once you’re happy with your layout, adhere the pieces to the gold-dipped card base of your choice. Use a strong adhesive to ensure everything stays in place. I used glue and a sponge to add the adhesive to some pieces.
Gold-Dipped Tags For The Season!
Don’t forget gift tags! Use the same materials to create matching tags for your presents. Cut cardstock, add pieces from an ephemera pack, and finish with twine.
To stretch the Gold-Dipped Cards and Envelopes in the Mix and Match collection, you can cut the card bases in half and mount them on two Solid Colored card bases. You can also cut the envelopes and use those as layers on a card base!
