Fun Fold with 2 Inch Circle Punch

Fun Fold with 2 Inch Circle Punch Instructions:

Use any colored Cardstock and coordinating Designer Series Papers

On these two cards I used Melon Mambo Cardstock with Garden Impressions Designer Series Papers

and Night of Navy with Tranquil Textures Designer Series Papers

Cut 8 1/2″ x 11″ cardstock in half lengthwise at 4 1/4″

Score at 4 1/4″ and at 8 1/2″

Use 2″ Circle punch and punch on the 8 1/2″ score line as shownFun Fold with 2 Inch Circle Punch

Use coordinating cardstock and punch another 2″ circle

Attach to the lower flap by adding adhesive to the bottom section only

Fun Fold with 2 Inch Circle Punch

On Whisper White cardstock punch out sentiment circle with 1 3/4″ circle punch

Stamp Sentiment with coordinating ink

Cut Designer Series Papers or cardstock for the top flap (1) 4″ x 4″ and (1) 2 1/4″ x 4″

On the 2 1/4″ x 4″ layer line up with the circle that you punched and draw a half circle with a pencil

Fun Fold with 2 Inch Circle Punch

Punch DSP or Cardstock layer with 2″ Circle Punch

Fun Fold with 2 Inch Circle Punch

Another option is to punch both cardstock and DSP at the same time.  I would not punch two layers of cardstock!

Fun Fold with 2 Inch Circle Punch

Add Whisper White layer with Snail for inside 4″ x 4″ and stamp sentiment

The question you are asking yourself is will this fit in a regular envelope and the answer is yes!  The circle portion sticking up makes the card measure 4 1/4″ x 5 1/2″ so no special envelope needed at all!

Thank you so much for this idea! I have saved it so I can try it later. I will sign up for your newsletter as I love your idea with the circle punch. I have been a Stampin’ UP! demonstrator several times going back to 1998; however due to health reasons had to resign. Still in love with all their products because no one can compete with matching card stock, inks, ribbon and stamps. Keep up with the great ideas.

I made some of these years ago, putting a flower where ground circle is, and a vase below it on the flap. Tfs
