The Stampin’ Up!’s ‘Full of Life’ designer series paper offers an inviting and invigorating burst of color to your handmade cards. From subtle to vivid color tones these papers will add fun and playful elements and maybe even help you feel like your inner artist has an outlet!
To get started, I took one of the 6” x 6” pieces of designer paper and adhered it to an 8 1/2” x 11” piece of white cardstock, angling it. Then, I cut the cardstock into 4 pieces that measure 3 3/4” x 5”.
One super cool thing about these pieces is that they look great no matter how you turn them! I made most of my cards in landscape view, but when I had a large greeting, I turned that one into a portrait view.

Check out how I strategically placed the DSP on the Basic White layer! I began trimming it down from the center, making sure to keep the points of the DSP visible. It was so much fun!
For an extra pop, I went bold with all the card assemblies. I used two stamp sets for the greetings: Kindest Expressions and Softly Said.
The color excitement continued as I began crafting the cards. I selected Boho Blue cardstock for the base layer and used Shaded Spruce ink to stamp the greeting from the Kindest Expressions Stamp Set. To add a final touch of sparkle, I embellished the cards with three different shades of Adhesive-Backed Shiny Sequins!
For my next card, I used Crushed Curry for my layer (5 1/4″ x 4″), Berry Burst Ink and more sequins from the Adhesive-Backed Shiny Sequins!
This card was portrait-oriented because I used a larger greeting from the Softly Said Stamp Set, stamped in Berry Burst Ink. The DSP was slightly smaller on this card, so I opted for a bigger greeting, stamped in Lost Lagoon. To complete the look, I added a touch of sparkle with Adhesive-Backed Shiny Sequins!
For my fourth card, I used Granny Apple Green for my layer, Adhesive-Backed Shiny Sequins, and Blueberry Bushel ink to stamp ‘Thanks so Much’ from the Kindest Expressions Stamp Set!
