Flowers of Friendship Cards + New Stampin’ Up! Catalog Sneak Peek

Cards for Friends· Gallery

6 May

I love sending Flowers of Friendship Cards that don’t set off allergies, they last a long time, and bloom all year!

Not only am I sharing some simple cards you can make with the Stampin’ Up! ‘Flowers of Friendship’ stamp set but I’m also showing off the new In-Colors from Stampin’ Up!

I made 4 greeting cards using the stamp set plus I used the coordinating punch called ‘Flowers & Leaves’!

BONUS: I’m also sharing the unboxing of some of the best card making supplies that are now available. Did you know that demonstrators get the lovely perk of being able to order select items in advance of public release? It’s a great perk and how I made my Flowers of Friendship cards so quickly!

The Stampin' Up! Flowers of Friendship makes easy cards.

The new Polished Pink Open Weave ribbon is so yummy! We also have the coordinating Stampin’ Blends in the new In-Colors too!

Another bonus: I have 2 downloads below showing you coordinating products AND color coordination palettes for all of our color groups. Now you can get busy making your own Flowers of Friendship cards!

Flowers of Friendship + New Card Making Supplies Unboxed

I think the ‘Flowers of Friendship’ stamp set is one of the easiest in the new catalog to use and it goes great with all of the new in-colors and fun supplies. Enjoy all the eye candy in this unboxing video!

Which of these colors is your favorite? Are you planning to get the Flowers of Friendship? Inquiring minds want to know!

On this Friendship card I used flowers punched out and added for dimension.

Pale Papaya Cardstock and ribbon was used to make this card. I took my Basic Black Stampin’ Write Marker and colored the red rubber stamp only on the stems and leaves. By stamping my flowers with Memento ink and punching them out I created my own version of the flowers and leaves!

These Flowers of Friendship card features the new in-colors by Stampin Up!

Somehow I forgot to order the Pale Papaya Stampin’ Blends so I decided to use the Blender Pen with ink from the Stamp Pads lid to color my flowers!

The craft punch used to punch out the flowers and leaves.

The best tip for the punch is to use strips of cardstock to have less waste when you are punching out the flowers or leaves!

I used the Flowers of Friendship bundle to make a 'wreath' of flowers on this greeting card.

My thought was to make this a wreath but I enjoyed stamping the flowers first and adding more flowers and leaves with Stampin’ Dimensionals that I strayed from a true wreath and felt like it was more a field of flowers! The sentiment was fussy cut with my snips as was the Soft Succulent mat.
