Designer Paper Greeting Cards That Are Quick & Simple To Make

Easy Cards· Gallery

17 Nov

What would your life look like if you could make designer paper greeting cards fast while still making them cute? Would you be mailing more cards with this method? The list of supplies needed to make these cards is minimal –a little cardstock, Designer Series Paper, Ink, and a greeting stamp set like ‘Go To Greetings’!

I am 100% addicted to making designer paper greeting cards and this card layout! Every one of the cards shown is made the same way using different Designer Series Papers and cardstock.

These greeting cards were shared during a recent Stamp Along for new team members! We had a wonderful time getting to know each other and making a set of cards together!

What paper will you use to make your designer paper greeting cards? I’d love to hear about your plans!

To start, grab a piece of 6″ x 6″ Designer Series Paper and cut it according to the diagram that is included in the FREE Download (below).

Use the 4″ x 5″ piece of Designer Series Paper, then cut 1″ off the long side and flip it over to give a different look to the greeting card. So simple! Next, add both pieces to the Parakeet Party cardstock layer. Add all layers to the Starry Sky card base. Last, you can stamp ‘Thinking of You” in Starry Sky ink on white cardstock and add that to a Parakeet Party cardstock layer. When you are done with those steps you are ready to add this to the front of your card using Dimensionals.

Stamp Happy Birthday at the top of a Basic White layer 4″ x 5 1/4″, next, add to a Starry Sky Card base. Cut the Designer Series Paper 2″ x 5 1/4″, matted on 2 1/4″ x 5 1/4″ Parakeet Party and add to the card front.

These cards used the ‘Go To Greetings’ Stamp Set and ‘Lights Aglow’ Specialty Designer Series Paper that comes 6″ x 6″. Simply choose the pattern you prefer and cut accordingly!

How about some shimmer? The 2022-2024 In Color Glimmer Paper is ombre going from light to dark. When I cut the paper I flipped the piece for the card on the left so that the lighter 1″ strip popped on the card! I love how simple these cards but with the Glimmer they sparkle!
