Craft Stencils/Decorative Masks Currently Available
Stampin’ Up! offers a fantastic selection of craft stencils, also known as decorative masks. These stencils boast a user-friendly design with handy alignment notches. These notches take the guesswork out of positioning, ensuring crisp and precise designs every time. Pro Tip: Use Masking Paper from Stampin’ Up! to secure your cardstock and stencil/masks. The key to successful coloring is making sure everything is in proper placement as you add the layers of colors.
Measurements of this card:
- Basic Black – 4 14″ x 5 1/2″ for your base
- Basic White – 6 1/2″ x 5 1/4″, scored at 4″
TIPS WHEN MASKING And working with craft stencils:
- Utilize the alignment notches on the Layers of Beauty stencils for precise placement.
- Secure your cardstock with Stampin’ Up! Masking Paper (highly recommended for stenciling).
- Achieve even coloring with sponges or blending brushes.
- Build color depth by starting light and gradually adding darker shades.
- Finally, stamp the final details with Memento Black ink for a crisp finish.
