Citrus Blooms Suite: 4 Amazing Card Ideas To Make This Summer

Card Making Ideas· Die Cutting· Gallery· Stampin' Blends Alcohol Markers· Thinking Of You

30 May

What better way to celebrate the summer sunshine than with fresh Citrus Blooms handmade cards? This Stampin’ Up! suite of products is full of citrusy goodness, and I’m bursting with excitement to share these card designs that were inspired by the new 2024-2025 annual catalog.

To start, I will share two cards from the catalog and then two other designs that I created.

On Monday I shared a card using the Citrus Blooms and Mediterranean Designer Series Paper (if you missed that card you can see it here) and since I am so in love with this Suite I am sharing more cards using it!

Want to see some of the coolest and most refreshing elements of the Citrus Blooms suite of products? Watch the video and see the products up close and get lots of tips for using this bundle.

What is YOUR favorite element of the Citrus Blooms suite? The vibrant designer paper, the stamp set and coordinating dies, or something else?

While the lemons and oranges in the Mediterranean Designer Series Paper are undeniably cheerful, the stunning navy blue patterns truly captivated me! This card, featured on page 34 of the Stampin’ Up! catalog , perfectly showcases this versatility. By die-cutting the Night of Navy cardstock, a peek of the gorgeous designer paper peeks through, creating a stunning contrast. The citrus elements are then die-cut from the DSP itself, adding a delightful pop of color. It’s a simple yet captivating design!

Citrus Blooms Card 2:

The die-cut elements from the Night of Navy cardstock on the previous card sparked a new design idea! This time, I decided to use the leftover Night of Navy cardstock as the base behind the die-cut branch of oranges for a completely different card. The deep blue creates a sophisticated foundation for the vibrant citrus elements cut from the Mediterranean Designer Series Paper.

Citrus Blooms Card 3:

This card features hand-stamped oranges colored with Stampin’ Blends to match the vibrant hues of the DSP. Cajun Craze outlines the oranges, while Pumpkin Pie shades add depth with a light-to-dark blend. The leaves feature Old Olive, using light shade on the ends and blending into the dark towards the base of the leaves.

Citrus Blooms Card 4:

This card is totally Sorrento, Italy! I used a sheet from the Mediterranean Blooms paper pack (included in the Citrus Blooms Suite of products) to cover the entire card front (4-1/4″ x 5-1/2″). Then, I added my layer of Garden Green and White cardstock and topped it with the lemons that I cut with scissors from the designer series paper.

I have a download below of all of the cards and their measurements for you.

Lemons and oranges were everywhere in Sorrento, and the vendors were clever in their displays. I hope I can visit Sorrento again one day!
