This Texas gal loves the beach! Ever noticed the art piece behind any of my videos? It’s my way of bringing the beach home! And today we brought the beach to the craft studio with some fun birthday cards for friends!
These cards feature the new ‘Friends are Like Seashells’ stamp set by Stampin’ Up! There are also coordinating dies called ‘Seaside Seashells’!
I am sharing 3 different birthday card designs with different ways to use the stamps and dies.
I loved putting the Opal Rounds in the clam shell! Super cute don’t you think?

Oh there is a super fun Embossing folder that matches the dies perfectly called Seashells 3D Embossing Folder. With it being 3D it really is a deeper embossing than regular embossing folders. I ran the white paper through the Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine with the Seashells 3D Embossing folder first. Then I stamped the seashells and fussy cut them out with my snips. Using Liquid Glue I added them to the embossing layer! Super easy!
Pearlized Specialty Paper made a stunning birthday card so easy! I cut the paper with the Seaside Seashells and added some dimensionals under the shells to make them even more 3D! Wanted you to know that the ink does not dry quickly on the Pearlized Paper so I poured clear embossing powder over and heat set. All cards also used the Stitched Rectangle Dies for the sentiment layers.
