Beautiful Handmade Cards: How I Make 2 Cards at One Time

Gallery· Mystery Stamping Cards

6 Jun

Why not make 2 Beautiful Handmade Cards at one time? Maximize your crafting time and double your creativity. I’ll teach you how!

When you are cutting a piece of cardsock that measures 8 1/2″ x 11″ you need to cut it in half to make 1 card. Instead, use each half of the cardstock and make 2 beautiful handmade cards!

With this easy layout, you’ll find yourself making 2 of these cards quickly!

Hues of Happiness DSP is great for cutting flowers from the paper to embellish your handmade cards!

I love the Stampin’ Up! ‘Hues of Happiness’ designer paper! Instead of stamping on the white layer of cardstock I decided to fussy cut some flowers from the paper to add to my card! I love the Pool Party colored flowers in the upper left and lower right corners!

Beautiful Handmade Cards: 2 For 1 Video Tutorial

What is my favorite die shape for making this beautiful handmade card? The rectangle stitched dies! You’ll see in the video how to use these dies to cut the white layer and the mat layer in pool party cardstock.

The Stylish Shapes Dies are New in the 2022-2023 Annual Catalog! I love that it includes stylish circles, squares, and banners that are all stitched!

Want to make your beautiful handmade card base spruced up? I used a stamp from the ‘Cottage Rose’ set and stamped my cardstock in Night of Navy ink for a tone-on-tone look.

Mystery Stampers (held every Monday at 4:00 PM CT on YouTube) loved making this card today! Having them follow the clues to make 2 beautiful handmade cards was fun! We chatted during the live video and I helped them along the way.

We have 2 rules with Mystery Stamping

  1. Don’t stress, stamping is fun!
  2. Go rogue if my clues don’t make sense!
