Mystery Stamping Cards

23 Jan

You are seeing today’s Mystery Monday Card using Artistically Inked Stamp Set! The colors really pop on this very easy card! If you are new to card making or simply looking for creative ideas to use your stamps for then Mystery Stamping is for you!

WHAT IS MYSTERY STAMPING? I give you clues each week to make a card. It’s as simple as that! And you have fun with the Mystery Stampers community! Use the supplies you already have in your craft stash!

There is no right or wrong way to do Mystery Monday Stamping and if you need to go rogue that is encouraged.

HOW DO I GET STARTED WITH MYSTERY STAMPING?

Make sure you are signed up for my newsletter. Every SUNDAY I email the first clue then you can Join me LIVE on Monday on YouTube (YouTube Times: Time: Eastern: 8:00 PM, Central – 7:00 PM, Mountain – 6:00 PM, Pacific – 5:00 PM)

Not only do we have a great time making a handmade card but we have so much fun and share a lot of laughs. And you end up with a card layout you can use over and over again! Plus, after the Mystery is solved I give you the clues here on my blog for you to print off to make the card again.

As I gave the clues today I gave my Mystery Stampers two choices.

Stamp your sentiment on White scrap with ink

OR….

You could use Versamark Ink and stamp on Colored Cardstock, pour White Emboss Powder over, and Heat set

I chose to stamp on Starry Sky colored cardstock and emboss with White Emboss Powder which I think really popped!

Since I wanted ribbon on the card and didn’t have Starry Sky I used the New Night of Navy Bordered Ribbon and colored with my Starry Sky Stampin’ Blend (Dark). Basically chose a color of ribbon that is close to what you want it to be and it works great!
