4 Ideas for Simple but Beautiful Handmade Thank You Cards

Gallery

18 May

Let me teach you how to make 4 simple handmade thank you cards. One great thing about today’s cards is they can all be made with one bundle.

These thank you cards feature the new Stampin’ Up! Color & Contour bundle. This stamp set has 2-step stamps so you can stamp the ‘inside’ color if you’d like use your Stampin’ Blends to color them in. It is currently a top seller from the New Catalog!

I used the scallop dies to cut my background layers on these thank you cards. I love the stitching effect these die cuts show.

Need help learning how to line up the stamps and dies? I’ve got all the tips in the video.

On this first handmade thank you card I used Stampin’ Write Markers.

Handmade thank you cards are easy to make with the Stampin' Up! Color & Contour bundle.

Handmade Thank You Cards | 4 Designs from Simple to Stepped up Versions

These handmade thank you cards are so simple to make. You can keep it simple with stamps and markers, add an embossed background, or do all of those things and use the die cuts too. The card designs you can come up with are boundless. I think these would also make a great thank you card for a teacher too!

Which of these handmade thank you cards is your favorite? I’d love to hear!

This handmade thank you card features the die cut flowers stamped in bright pinks, yellows & purples.

This thank you card was made in ‘portrait mode’ and I used the 2-step stamping method on this one which gives the card a bit of an abstract look. I used Magenta Madness Cardstock.

You can make your thank you card with simple stamping and a colorful banner.

This thank you card idea started with stampin in Stazon Black ink and then I used Stampin’ Write Markers. Be careful to stay inside the lines so the colors don’t bleed.

Want to step up your handmade thank you card? Use an embossing folder in the background.

On this Thank You Card I used gorgeous grape ink with the 2-step stamping method. Adding a panel embossed with the Painted Textures embossing folder really stepped up this card.
