How Do I Make The BEST ‘W’ Fold Christmas Card? Add Family Photos!

Christmas Cards· Fun Folds Cards· Gallery

11 Nov

This W fold Christmas Card is more than your average handmade Christmas card! It packs a WOW with showing you how to add family photos. But don’t worry, I have a second card to show you for those that don’t want to add photos.

You don’t have to make your W fold Christmas card with family photos if that’s not your thing—simply replace it with some coordinating designer paper or scrapbook paper, but I know many of you were looking for a photo Christmas card option!

Let me tell y’all, this W fold Christmas card is mantel-worthy! The card I made has several of my precious grandchildren and I was grinning ear to ear when I completed my card.

THE OUTSIDE OF MY W FOLD CHRISTMAS CARD IS PRETTY BUT LOOK INSIDE!

W Fold Christmas Card Video Tutorial:

The Stampin’ Up! Peaceful Cabin Bundle is honestly one of my favorites; I pick it up all of the time. It was perfect for making this W Fold Christmas card!

Since the trees in the designer paper were silver I used my silver embossing powder on the cabin too.

Well, watch the video and you’ll get all the tips and instructions you need to make this card!

Are You Excited about seeing this w fold Christmas card? Will you try making one yourself? I’d love to hear your thoughts and plans!

Let’s combine a W fold Card To Hold photos!

The card works perfectly to show off these angels!  Not sure I can make one to hold all 11 of my grandkids because it would have to have fold-outs to do that!

W Fold Christmas Card Photo Diagram

I have a diagram to show you how I placed the photos using Microsoft Word but you can print your photos and trim them down to fit.

As you can see below, the card lays perfectly flat, and even when closed it’s not that bulky.  It’s key to use your bone folder to give those card folds a good crease.

I chose to stamp my greeting on the left panel of the card so that I can sign on the right side and add a message.  Don’t these angels put a smile on your face?

I know you will want to make this soon! I have a Free download for you with all of the measurements below!

Tips For Assembling your cards:

Add Tear and Tape to the back of the 1 ¾” x 11” piece of cardstock.  I used Basic Black cardstock here so that you can best see the tape.

To add the W portion to your card I recommend a strong adhesive like Tear and Tape.  It will hold those precious photos better as it sits out on display!

Alternate Card Option Without Photos

Check out the card that features the designer series paper. Oh my, I love the Peaceful Place designer series that coordinates with the Peaceful Cabin bundle!
