Valentine’s Day Shaker Card: A Step by Step Tutorial:
Shaker cards are fun and this one I think is a DIY Valentine card that will make anyone feel special. It’s a bonus that you can make this as an anniversary card too!

Shaker cards are probably one of my favorites to make especially for my grandkids! And these Faceted Gems were perfect for this card. I do share a great tip on my video when using these gems.
I Punched the Heart out using one of the two punches that are available in the bundle! Love punches and these two are super fun because one is a plain heart and the other one is scalloped.
You will need Foam Adhesive Strips to create a Shaker Card. When assembling the card you will add one of the Window Sheets directly to the back of the Whisper White Layer, add the Foam Strips, then the Faceted Gems inside the heart (not too much!) then the second piece of window sheet. If you have not made a Shaker Card before check out my video where I share tips and tricks to help you.
You’ll love playing with all of the other images and sentiments in the Heartfelt Stamp set. Showing off both sides of the From My Heart Specialty Designer Series Paper (DSP) simply by pulling up the corner of bottom right, secured under the heart with Tear and Tape. Notice the Heart Doily? That’s another new item that is in the From My Heart Suite.
The foil elements of the DSP is so hard to capture on camera! Here’s a better angle for you to see! And you know you could use these sentiments past Valentine’s Day! I’m thinking of a card just because for my husband!
Again the foil elements on the DSP is so hard to capture! This pattern in the DSP pack made this card so easy! I simply punched the DSP with the Scalloped Heart Punch then stamped my sentiment in the center.
What a great sentiment to send a card to a friend for any reason, any time of the year! I always try to look at Holiday Stamps in a way that I can use past that specific holiday.
