Today I’m excited to share an unbelievably easy flowering desert card. Easy but simple stamping for this Arizona gal! Stamps, paper, and ink make a simple handmade card and oh so fun to play with! Being from Texas I had never known the beauty of the desert like I have experienced while living here.

Mountains in the desert amaze me and these are covered peaks with snow since we’ve had two days of the white stuff this month.
So many different types of Cactus in the desert and each one is beautiful in its own way. Wikipedia says Saguaros have a relatively long lifespan, often exceeding 150 years. They may grow their first side arm any time from 75–100 years of age, but some never grow any arms. A saguaro without arms is called a spear. Arms are developed to increase the plant’s reproductive capacity, as more apices lead to more flowers and fruit.
