I’ve got some tips for fun fold cards you’ll find useful! Summertime with an Adirondack chair and cold beverage is my style! And this fun fold card speaks to me! I was inspired by a card I saw on Pinterest and while I didn’t have the Designer Series Papers Laura Seki used I am very pleased with my version!
Simply by using Balmy Blue Card stock and the Corrugated Embossing Folder I recreated the look of the lined DSP that was used on my inspiration card! Colors look beautiful together includes Balmy Blue, Soft Suede and Crumb Cake! As I mention on my video I totally went against everything in me in making this card but I give you lots of tips for fun fold cards. I typically create using one stamp set or bundle, yet this card includes so much more!
Since I needed the Adirondack Chair I used the Seasonal Layers Dies, Layering Squares Dies, Tropical Dies for the palm fronds and flower, Stitched Shapes Dies for the circle and Tropical Chic Stamp set! Don’t be discouraged if you don’t have all of those as I explain in my video below.

- Crumb Cake Card Stock – 4 1/4″ x 11″, scored and folded at 2 3/4″ and 5 1/2″, scrap for square
- Balmy Blue Card Stock – 2 1/2″ x 4″, 4″ x 5 1/4″, scrap for square, chair
- Soft Suede Card stock – scrap for circle, palm fronds
- Whisper White Card stock – scrap for flower
