Stampin’ Blends: Why I Love Using Them to Make Greeting Cards?

Gallery

6 Jul

Stampin’ Blends are my favorite alcohol markers and I use them for lots of paper crafts including my handmade greeting cards.

Y’all know that I have been to the beach with my family, including five grandkids. I decided to carry on the relaxing vibes with the Beautiful Moments stamp set and the Stampin’ Blends to color seamlessly.

I’ve got 3 greeting cards to share with you today that I used my Blends on and I’m also showing you how I decorated the coordinating envelope!

These alcohol markers are so good for quick coloring! I used Highland Heather to color the dress on this stamped image, Granny Apple Green for the grass, & Daffodil Delight for her hair. It’s so easy to blend the colors and shades with these alcohol based markers!

Stampin' blends are the best to color images with.

Stampin’ blends + Beautiful Moments=Lovely Greeting Cards

You may wonder how Blends are different from the Stampin’ Write Markers. Stampin’ Blends are alcohol based so they have a permanent dye based and they are so smooth to color with. They are designed to blend easily and to also add layers of colors if that is something you wish to do.

DO YOU PREFER STAMPIN’ BLENDS OR STAMPIN’ WRITE MARKERS WHEN YOU ARE COLORING? LET ME KNOW!

I used Stampin' Blends to add 'sand' to the beach on this fun summer card.

While my granddaughters are older than these two little girls it still reminded me of them. Elise and Cadence have always been such sweet girls and this stamp really portrays them!
Colors Used: Stamped in Memento Black Ink
Colored With: Highland Heather ,Flirty Flamingo, Daffodil Delight, Crumb Cake, Ivory
Using the Blending Brush with Crumb Cake ink allowed me to color the beach!

I used pink and coral colored alcohol markers for this easy to make greeting card.
