Your beautiful design skills are at work with Split Section cards—a delightful handmade card tutorial that adds an extra touch of charm to your paper crafting projects. In this tutorial, I showcase the vibrant Stampin’ Up! Flowering Zinnias designer paper paired with a sentiment from the Simply Zinnia stamp set, resulting in a stunning Thank You card. The vibrant colors and elegant design of this card never fail to bring me immense joy!

Split Section Card Video Tutorial

After watching the tutorial, what special occasion will inspire your next Split-Section Card creation?

Choose your designer series paper and start with a piece that measures 2-1/2″ x 4″, cut it into 2-1/2″ x 1″ strips. Create a coordinating cardstock mat cut 2-3/4″ x 1-1/4″ for each designer paper piece and adhere them.

The Simply Zinnias is from the Online Exclusives Line. The Simply Zinnias Stamp Set, Dies, and The Flowering Zinnias Designer Series Paper can be found HERE

I have a FREE download for you with all of the measurements below. I call them Mystery Clues but they are technically step-by-step instructions. If you want to join us for the next Mystery Monday Stamping, you can find me on YouTube at 7:00 PM Central.

For the final touch on your split section card, adhere to a strip of designer paper measuring 1/2″ x 5-1/2″ inside the card. Don’t forget to add a pop of personality to your envelope by covering the flap with coordinating Designer Series Paper, cut to fit at 6″ x 2-1/2″! Decorating the envelope ensures that every recipient will smile as they receive your heartfelt creation.
