Today’s post is all about having kindness and compassion with all the world is dealing with right now. I needed to make a few sympathy cards and I always struggle with these. I want to give you some card design ideas for sympathy cards so you can make them to have on hand when you need one.
I found out that a friend lost a loved one and I wanted to send her a card since right now I can’t go see her or give her a hug. I ordered the stamp set ‘Kindness and Compassion’ a few months ago because my friend lost her husband. She asked for some thank you cards to send to those who had helped her family with meals, errands, etc.
I pulled out the ‘Dandelion Wishes’ and ‘Beauty Abounds’ (used the Bokeh Dots from that set) stamp sets for these simple handmade sympathy cards.

Simple Handmade Sympathy Cards Images:
Use the same stamps and make this as a thank you card.
I used an Aqua Painter and ink refills for this simple handmade sympathy card. You will want to use either Shimmery White Cardstock or watercolor paper. Make sure your cardstock is completely dry before you stamp your images on it.
In the video I shared ways that you can use some techniques with Kindness and Compassion and Dandelion Stamp sets. This one uses a Stampin’ Up! Block with Bermuda Bay Classic Ink and an Aqua Painter!
