Making A Pocket Card Is Great Fun! Here’s How To Make Your Pocket Card

Cards for Friends· Gallery· Masculine Cards

26 Aug

I wanted to make a different kind of greeting card so this pocket card was perfect! I’m going to teach you how to make this pocket card too! PLUS I’m taking you down Memory Lane because tomorrow, August 27, 2021 is my 24th Stampaversary!

I’m so excited to share how to make this special pocket card while also sharing my Stampin’ Up! journey and memories!

24 years ago I joined as a Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator because my friend Debra Thompson went to a Stampin’ Up! Convention. I told her that I was going to the next one because honestly I feared missing out (FOMO) and this convention thing sounded so fun! Y’all should be glad because otherwise I might never have learned how to make cards of any kind much less the creative pocket card!

But aside from the pocket card I have a ton of other cards to share using this Suite – 24 more to be exact.

If you need to make any friendship cards you’ll definitely want to consider ‘Beauty of the Earth Suite’. There are so many sweet & sincere messages for friendship cards. This easy Pocket Card works for everyone since the colors are pretty neutral.

What favorite memories do you have when celebrating an anniversary? Are you going to try this pocket card?

The pocket card has an insert card which comes out. It could even be used as a Bookmark!

As I think back on the last 24 years I know I would not have met many of my friends if I hadn’t joined Stampin’ Up! as a demonstrator. I also wouldn’t know how to make this awesome pocket card & I love the sentiment on this card – ‘You Truly Inspire Me’ because all stampers do inspire me!

Here I am at my first Convention with my friend Debra Thompson who is also my upline. We were so young!!! I attended that Convention after just promoting to Manager!

Ahhh, the evolution of different products with Stampin’ Up! When I look at that first catalog I often wonder what made me do this? That’s easy…the friendships!

We were both asked to do some stamping on walls at another convention. This is when we had really big stamps!

I always wore decorated hats so my friends could find me! Back then we had conventions that had like 5000 people in attendance each year!

I absolutely love your pocket card. I love the stamp set that you used and I intend to order it ASAP. I enjoyed looking at your photos in earlier years of being a Stampin”Up ! Demonstrator. You look the same today. Thank you Sharon for being the lovely and wonderful Demonstrator of today.
