Pearlized Enamel Effects: An Elegant Card With A Magical Touch

Birthday Cards· Card Making Techniques· Gallery· Thank You

25 Apr

Pearlized enamel effects are an amazing embellishment that you may have overlooked in the catalog. My team member, Amy Williams, inspired the four gorgeous cards I am sharing today. I am so proud of her and her creative talent. When she shared this idea I immediately knew I had to try it out myself. Make sure you check out her video ‘Simple and Elegant All Occasion Card’ and see her lovely cards that feature the enamel effects.

For gorgeous texture on this card I embossed white card stock with the Stampin’ Up! Layered Florals 3D embossing folder just as Amy did. You definitely want this folder if you don’t already have it. After that, the magic happens with the pearlized enamel effects.

Check out all the card varieties and colors I have to share

Are you amazed by what you can do with the Pearlized Enamel Effects? Will you give this technique a try?

The Pearlized Enamel Effects pack comes in three colors -White, Red, and Black.

After embossing the cardstock I applied the white pearlized enamel effects to the embossed layer with a sponge. It was surprisingly easy to apply and dried quickly.

Pearlized Enamel Card #2

This card was created with the red pearlized enamel effects. It looks pink, and I suspect if I added more, it would have looked red but I loved this color!

Pearlized Enamel Card #3

I love techniques, and this one is not only easy but addictive! Card number 3 shows off the Metallic Enamel Effects. I used the Copper Metallic here but this card would look great in the silver or the gold in the pack.

Pearlized Enamel Card #4

What if you wanted a blue version? No problem! Simply add a drop of Blueberry Bushel Ink refill to the White Pearlized Enamel Effects, mix it up, and apply it to the embossed white cardstock! The color possibilities are endless!
