This monochromatic thank you card is a great go-to when you want to make a stylish and simple greeting card! It’s amazing how powerful a single color palette can be; it creates such a stunning visual impact. The best part? This is a craft you can make at home in about 5 minutes!

Do you often find yourself scrambling for a thank you card after a luncheon, dinner, or other occasion? This tutorial is the perfect solution! Make a batch of these beauties, and you’ll always be prepared with a stunning thank you card ready to pop in the mail at a moment’s notice.

Monochromatic Thank You Card Video Tutorial:

Mark your calendars because on May 1, 2024, the wait is over to get your hands on the five new In Colors for 2024-2026. “Pretty in Pink” is back and I’m putting it to work on a charming monochromatic thank you card! Curious to see how this lovely pink shade creates a visually stunning impact? Watch the video tutorial and learn how to make this card yourself!

Supplies Used For This Monochromatic Thank You Card:

  • STAMP – Spotlight on Nature (163579) – includes dies (163581)
  • PAPER – Pretty in Pink (163793), Basic White (159276), 6” x 6” Subtles Designer Series Paper (DSP) (163776)
  • INK – Memento Tuxedo Black (132708)
  • OTHER – 2024-2026 In Color Resin Dots (163389), Stampin’ Seal (152813) 

Cutting & Scoring:  

  • Pretty in Pink Card base – 4 ¼” x 5 ½”
  • Basic White – (2) 2 ½” x 4”
    • 4” x 5 ¼”
  • DSP – 6” x 5”, score and fold at 2 ¼”
    • 1” x 5”

Instructions:

  • Adhere Basic White 4” x 5 ¼” to Pretty in Pink 4 ¼” x 5 ½” with adhesive
  • Add folded DSP to the Basic White layer with adhesive
  • Adhere DSP 1” x 5” to the inside of the card with adhesive
  • Stamp leaves on the bottom right corner with Pretty in Pink ink on one piece of            
  • Basic White 2 ½” x 4” and add to the inside of card-centered as shown
  • Stamp leaves on Basic White 2 ½” x 4” with Pretty in Pink
  • Stamp sentiment on the Basic White layer with Memento
  • Adhere the stamped Basic White layer to the card front with adhesive on the left side only, lining it up with the Basic White layer inside of the card
  • Add Embellishments to the card front
