How Do Stampers Make An Easy Yet Striking Mystery Thank You Card?

Gallery· Mystery Stamping Cards· Thank You

22 Jan

When you combine papercraft skills with the excitement of unraveling a mystery, you get a Mystery Thank You Card, and it’s undeniably captivating!

It’s kind of addicting to write clues on how to make a card, but that’s exactly the thrill of Mystery Stamping, which is typically held on the 1st and 3rd Monday of each month.

I aim to keep the card-making process accessible to all, utilizing the craft supplies you have at home. Crafters often have a variety of cardstocks and papers on hand, but for this Mystery thank you card, I wanted a striking look, so I instructed the stampers to use foil paper or cardstock because I used both and loved the look!

Mystery Thank You Card with stunning foil cardstocks embossed and die cut

One of the clues that I gave everyone was to emboss the strips of foil or cardstock. The added touch of texture enhances the appeal of the card front, elevating the overall look of the thank you card which I love!

You can use any embossing folder you have; I chose the ‘Exposed Brick 3D Embossing Folder’ by Stampin’ Up!

I wanted to use the Oxidized Copper Specialty Paper because it is exceedingly pretty! If you look closely, you can see a slight change in the color of copper from light to dark.

The Oxidized Copper Specialty Paper pack has two sheets of paper in the package. One page features fantastically distressed copper imaging, while the other is inspired by oxidized copper that pulls in the Pretty Peacock color!
