How to Make a Gate Fold Card Featuring Flowers

Fun Folds Cards· Gallery· Uncategorized

27 Nov

I know ya’ll are wondering how to Make a Gate Fold Card Featuring Flowers! You know how it is…a new Stampin’ Up! Catalog comes out and you just can’t stop wanting it all!  Bouquet Blooms Bundle that included the Gatefold Blooms Framelits was one I had not played with yet!  Y’all it’s adorable!

Different fold all done with the Framelits!  Since I wasn’t sure how to use them I just put them on a 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″ piece of Whisper White.  MMMMM…..something not quite right.  I searched for the video from Stampin’ Up!

How to Make a Gate Fold Card Featuring Flowers

Did you know that if Stampin’ Up! has made a video there will be Play Button image under the item you are shopping for?  When you are shopping on my website and you see the play button just push Play and watch what Stampin’ Up! tells you about the product!

Instructions

The instructions tell you to use 5″ x 9″ piece of cardstock.  Since that pretty much uses most of a sheet I thought I would try just a 5 ” x 8 1/2″ and while mine is a tad smaller it worked and I can get two out of one sheet!

Take 1/4 sheet of Whisper White and stamp all of the flowers, I used Melon Mambo, Mango Melody, Poppy Parade and on my video I added Gorgeous Grape

Originally I used Granny Apple Green Stampin’ Blends to color the leaves that are created when you use the Gatefold Framelits but quickly realized it bled thru to the backside so on the video I simply used a Granny Apple Green Stampin’ Write Marker.
