Want to know how I make a note card look extra special? Grab an embossing folder and transform your paper and layers to have texture! All you need is an embossing folder, cardstock, and some designer series paper. Choosing to emboss both the cardstock and the designer paper layers on your card really adds to the beauty and depth of your note card!
I chose the ‘Inked Botanicals’ designer paper and used the coordinating ‘Inked & Tiled’ stamp set for my note card. I couldn’t resist the fun colors in this paper—Lost Lagoon, Calypso Coral, and Crushed Curry. I chose Lost Lagoon for the base of my card and stamped my flower in Calypso Coral. I cut out the leaves and flowers with my scissors after
After all the stamping was done to make my note card I used scissors to cut out the leaves and flowers to place them on the card front. Last step? I used the ‘Inked & Tiled’ craft punch (the ‘X’ shaped design) to punch the greeting and then used scissors to trim the excess off. Clever use of the punch, don’t ya think?!
