Make A Note Card With These Easy To Follow Steps!

Easy Cards· Gallery· Mystery Stamping Cards

26 Jun

Want to know how I make a note card look extra special? Grab an embossing folder and transform your paper and layers to have texture! All you need is an embossing folder, cardstock, and some designer series paper. Choosing to emboss both the cardstock and the designer paper layers on your card really adds to the beauty and depth of your note card!

I chose the ‘Inked Botanicals’ designer paper and used the coordinating ‘Inked & Tiled’ stamp set for my note card. I couldn’t resist the fun colors in this paper—Lost Lagoon, Calypso Coral, and Crushed Curry. I chose Lost Lagoon for the base of my card and stamped my flower in Calypso Coral. I cut out the leaves and flowers with my scissors after

After all the stamping was done to make my note card I used scissors to cut out the leaves and flowers to place them on the card front. Last step? I used the ‘Inked & Tiled’ craft punch (the ‘X’ shaped design) to punch the greeting and then used scissors to trim the excess off. Clever use of the punch, don’t ya think?!

I have a passion for helping others gain confidence in their card making skills and one way I do that is through Mystery Monday Stamping. It’s a no-stress fun way to enhance your skills, make some note cards, and learn to go rogue when you need/want to.

I encourage everyone to take the clues and be creative with them. No two cards are the same which is the beauty of the program! Instead of comparing your work to others, you can simply enjoy making your note card any way you want!
