Lovely As A Tree Inspiration Card

Gallery· Thank You

14 Aug

Lovely As A Tree Inspiration Card was inspired by a card I received on my Alaska Cruise in a swap from fellow demonstrator Linda.  I loved the framed ring around the tree! So….I set off to create my own card.

Changing the colors and the stamp set used my card looks like hers just different!  What inspires you?  Pinterest? Blogs?  Use those inspirations and create your own masterpiece using what you have in your craft room!

Lovely As A Tree Inspiration Card

Lovely As A Tree Inspiration Card Instructions

Stamp the tree on the left side of the Very Vanilla layer with Shaded Spruce either by using markers or the ink pad as I showed on the video.

Remember if you use the ink pad you need to use the Blender Pen to remove some of the Shaded Spruce Ink off of the tree trunk

Use the Layering Circles Framelits to cut out the tree to create a frame around the tree

Attach Foam Adhesive strip to the frame circle, remove backing

Tie the Shaded Spruce ribbon to the ring

Add the ring to Very Vanilla layer

Use Snail adhesive to add the smaller circle being careful to line up the tree trunk

Stamp the sentiment on bottom right side of tree ring with Shaded Spruce Ink

Tear the right side of the Very Vanilla CS with your fingers away from you

Tear one of the Soft Suede layers the same allowing about 1/4″ mat, add the Very Vanilla to the Soft Suede layer with Snail and add both layers to the Shaded Spruce Card Base with Snail

Take the other Soft Suede layer and add to the inside of the card with Snail

Using the second layer of Very Vanilla Stamp the tree on the right side of the Very Vanilla layer with Shaded Spruce either by using markers or the ink pad as I showed on the video.

Adhere the Very Vanilla layer to the Soft Suede layer with Snail on the inside of the card.
