Mystery Monday Stamping Card: Life Is Better With You!

Beginning Stamping· Mystery Stamping Cards

10 Jul

What a great message to tell someone “Life is better with you”!!! Today’s simple card is from our Mystery Monday Stamping and I love how simple it was to make yet elegant when completed! The elegance to me comes from the Geometric Patterns Embossing Folder! The size of my layer allowed me to use this smaller folder for my card!

Since today’s card was a Mystery Stamping card I have the Clues for you to make your own card using any Stamps, Paper, and Ink that you have! That is the beauty of Mystery Stamping…it allows you the freedom to use what you have and make a card! See a clue I shared and it’s not your thing? No worries…Just Go Rogue and make the card your own!

CLUE #1

  • Light Colored (or Basic White Thick) Cardstock – 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″, scored at 4 1/4″
  • Different Colored Cardstock – 3″ x 4 3/4″
  • Colored Cardstock – 2 3/4″ x 4 1/2″
  • Designer Series Paper – Your card will be Landscape – (8) 1″ x 1″ squares
  • Small Sentiment Stamp – NOTE: This needs to be a one-liner type of stamp to fit this card
  • Ink
  • Liquid Glue
  • Embossing Folder
  • Die Cutting Machine

CLUE #2

  • Your card is going to be Landscape
  • Stamp a small sentiment stamp in the bottom right corner of the Colored Cardstock or Basic White Thick card base

CLUE #3

  • Add the 8 1” x 1” squares of Designer Series Paper to the 2 ¾” x 4 ½” Colored cardstock with Liquid Glue
  • You want to leave a space around each square

CLUE #4

  • Emboss the Designer Series Paper that is on Colored cardstock with Embossing Folder and Die Cutting Machine

CLUE #5

  • Adhere the embossed layer to the Colored Cardstock that measures 3” x 4 ¾”

CLUE #6

  • Add layers to the card front with Dimensionals above the Sentiment image

CLUE #7

  • Since I told you that you need to use Light Colored Cardstock or Basic White for your card base I did not tell you to cut a layer for the inside but you can do that if you need to.

CLUE #8

  • Add embellishments if you want to
