Learn How to Make an Easy Card in 5 Minutes with Scrap Paper

Easy Cards

8 Sep

Make an easy card in minutes with scrap paper! It’s simple card making that leaves no waste. Grab a label punch, pretty paper, and you’re ready to start.

We all love our Designer Series Papers and scrapbook papers and you can make lots of easy cards with these beautiful papers.

I recently watched a behind-the-scenes on how our papers are created. They are first hand drawn -absolutely amazing!  In step 2 color is added to the design. Such talent!  Seeing the process of how papers are designed led me to appreciate the beauty of our Designer Series Papers even more.

To make an easy card like today’s I started with using the Lovely Labels Punch–you get 2 styles to punch with using one craft punch on this simple card.

Great tip when making this easy card …. punch the bottom, and watch the pattern of your paper so that you don’t have any designs that are upside down when adhered to your card base.

On the card above I used white embossing powder on Misty Moonlight cardstock.  I stamped the flower with Versamark ink and heat embossed.  You can always color your flower instead if you prefer.  Want to step up your card a bit but still keep it simple? Use the ‘Textile Textures 3D Embossing Folder’ on the cardstock strip.
