Inspiration to Make a Handmade Card

Birthday Cards· Cards for Friends· Gallery

31 Jul

My Inspiration to Make a Handmade Card came from my recent Alaska Cruise with Stampin’ Up!  We love to swap cards with each other to be inspired.  Think of it as Pinterest but in person!  Here is the card that inspired me was created by fellow demonstrator Betsy.

Inspiration to Make a Handmade Card

While I could have created the card just like Betsy did I wanted to use if for inspiration and change it up with different colors of cardstock and a different stamp set.  I will be sharing several cards this month that were inspired by the swaps I received in hopes that it will help you think outside the box!

As a lover of Copper Embossing I chose to use this for my card!  I am holding it up so that you can hopefully see how gorgeous it is!

Inspiration to Make a Handmade Card Video

I shared on the video how I made my embellishment and wanted to give you an up-close photo of it.  I would love to hear your thoughts on my Faux Metal Embellishment!  Can you see the Blackberry Bliss through the embossing?

Thank you so much for your excellent tutorial about the new embossing mats…and the experienced technique of reversing the layers!!! I became a StampinUp fanatic almost 30 years ago, and love it more each year. Any “tips” for embossing with the new Love You To Pieces dies?

Debbie, you are most welcome! I don’t have the Puzzled Pieces Framelits. However, as I mention just play with them! Just use the sandwich the way I describe and have fun!!!!
