Do you know how to transform a card into framed art? Did you know you could make a card that serves 2 purposes? You’re in for a treat today!
I transformed easel cards into framed art with the ‘Stitched Rectangle Dies’. I used the ‘Peaceful Poppies Designer Paper’ as my focal point because that paper is so beautiful!!!
Transform a card…follow along with me and be sure and watch the video all the way through. I’ve got 3 examples to share with you!
I’ve got some key tips in making these cards too– make sure you watch how I adhered it my designer paper to ensure that it doesn’t buckle!
These are all cards for friends who are dropping things off for me. I have a tote outside my door and friends have been bringing me fresh farm eggs and picking up packages that have to go to the Post office so that I don’t have to go out. I am so grateful for them!
I thought these special friends would appreciate seeing how to transform a card into some ‘art’ that could brighten their day!
A little hidden gem are the Peaceful Poppies Elements that I used to hold up these two Easel Cards.

Did you enjoy my framed art easel cards today?
On my video I give you some great tips on scoring and adhering the Peaceful Poppies Designer Series Paper. The first card I made I did it wrong and the DSP popped up and buckled! I always like to share any challenges that I have so that you don’t have them!
Painted Poppies Cling Stamp set was what I used to hold up my Easel on this card. Colored with the Stampin’ Blends which I love!
When using the Stitched Rectangle dies to cut my frame I also use the largest one to cut my Window Sheet and Designer Series Papers!
Also, very important tip is to only add adhesive to the bottom panel so that your framed art doesn’t stick down! You want it to pop up so that this framed artwork can be on display!
