How to Make Your Own Background Paper for Card Making | Easy Peasy 1-2-3

Beginning Stamping· Gallery· Uncategorized

31 Mar

Want to learn how to make your own background paper for card making? I’m thrilled to teach you! Your handmade cards are extra unique with this technique! Grab your stamps, ink and paper for #simplestamping.

As I was making these cards I remembered an old technique using scissors (check out Stampin’ Up! paper snips–they are above your average in quality) to rough up the edges of my layers.  You can see what I am talking about in my video.  All of these cards are flat with no dimensionals used.

What stamp set do you own that would you use as background paper for card making?

Can you see how I used my scissors to rough up the edges of the Pear Pizzazz layer for a Shabby Chic look?

All of these cards are part of my Easy Peasy 1-2-3 Series.  These handmade cards are geared for new stampers and avid stampers alike.  Some will bring back memories if you have been around for a half a minute!  If you have missed any of my other cards in the series you can find them on my YouTube playlist HERE
