Today I’m going to teach you how to make a floating layer card! If you have been on Pinterest at all lately you probably have seen the floating layer technique. Honestly, I thought it was going to be hard so I’ve hesitated trying it. Y’all it is so easy! You could use any floral stamp set you have!
The Stampin’ Up! Bouquet Blooms is the set I chose and if you love my card you will want to grab it before it’s gone since it is retiring!

Pulling in two other sets that are also retiring – Thoughtful Banners and Thankful Thoughts, sniff, sniff! On the Happy Mother’s Day card I used Duet Banner Punch which is also going away!!!!!
Since the sentiments that came with Bouquet Blooms was too small for my card I used Thankful Thoughts on the first one with a frame.
Sending Mother’s Day Cards is on my list of to do’s so for this card I used Thoughtful Banners and the Duet Banner Punch. It was easier than cutting layers to fit the words!
