Birthday Cards· Gallery· Mystery Stamping Cards

30 Jan

Celebrate your loved one’s special day! Learn how to make a birthday card by hand.  With this easy tutorial, you’ll be able to make a beautiful and unique card for your friends and family in no time. Get started now and have some fun creating the perfect greeting card for your loved one!

During Monday Mystery Stamping I give step-by-step clues on how to make a card. Cards will be similar because you are using the same or similar layout yet no 2 cards are ever the same. Choose the stamp set, cardstock, and ink colors that you want to use on your card and then get started.

Make sure you grab the Free Clues Download (keep reading below) so that you can make your card at home using whatever supplies you have.

You are invited to join Mystery Monday Stamping! Sign up to get the first clue each week. After you make your card share a picture of it in the Facebook group.

Use a large outline stamp and stamp on the same white cardstock layer as the greeting but stamp on the left side

Stamp the same outline stamp on a 1-5/8” x 1-5/8” white layer in black ink. Then, color the image

Place, but don’t adhere, the small layer you stamped and colored on top of the larger stamped image—this just gives you a visual idea. Next, move the small image away and only color the area on the 4” x 5-1/8” image piece that will be visible when the smaller image is placed on top.

Add the smaller stamped & mat layers to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals  as shown. Then add any embellishments that you like.
