How to Make an Easy Shaker Card as a Special Birthday Treat

Birthday Cards· Gallery

8 Apr

I love designing ideas for birthday cards so I’m super excited to show you how to make an easy shaker card that will work for all ages.

One of my absolute favorite types of cards to make is Shaker Cards, especially for my grandkids! However, I have one grandson who shakes it so hard sometimes the shakers come out! So I think I have figured out a way to make an easy shaker card that will prevent him from doing that.

To get started on this creative birthday card you’ll want to grab some clear medium envelopes from my online store. Then follow along with the video tutorial. You’ll have your shaker card made in minutes!

I have a download for you to print and keep too so be sure and grab that!

Which of these easy shaker cards would you make first? I’m super curious to know!

The Stampin' Up! Ice Cream Corner designer paper was perfect for this easy shaker card.

I used window sheets (aka: acetate sheets) on this shaker card! I love having all of the confetti loose inside! Make sure you watch the card video tutorial for all the tips I share with making these cards!

This card is an extended Z fold shaker card that I wanted to make for my granddaughter. I used the ‘Happy Thoughts’ stamp set for the ‘Happy Birthday’ greeting on this card.
