Want to See Homemade Christmas Card Ideas You Can Make Like a Pro?

Christmas Cards· Gallery

The Stampin’ Up! Merriest Moments gave me homemade Christmas card ideas that are easy and I’ll walk you through the steps to make this card.

This homemade Christmas card idea starts with a little bit of a different color palette–the core color being Mint Macaron. My inspiration came from the new ‘Whimsy and Wonder’ Specialty Designer Series Paper. But don’t worry–one of my Christmas cards today does use the traditional red & green colors!

For the featured homemade Christmas card I got to use a Hybrid embossing folder. It’s so cool! A hybrid embossing folder allows you to place a die inside the folder so that it embosses and cuts the image at the same time. You can only do that with hybrid embossing folders so don’t try this on other types of embossing folders. But OMG….what beautiful homemade Christmas Cards this bundle makes!

Which of these homemade christmas card ideas do you most want to make & Why? I’d love to know!

The Designer paper has iridescent stars so I paired it with Silver Emboss Powder and Silver Foil for this fun homemade card. I used Flirty Flamingo ink for the berries since it is a softer color and coordinated so well with the Mint Macaron in the paper.

For my 3rd homemade Christmas card idea I embossed the white cardstock with only embossing folder. The sentiment layer was cut using the die in the set; it adds some depth to the card front. For this traditional Christmas card I used Cherry Cobbler and Shaded Spruce inks.

    Hi Sharon!
This card has to be the most beautiful I’ve seen using this bundle. It allows the beauty of the hybrid dies to shine and the colors are so welcoming.
    Thanks so much for sharing.
