Want To See A Sparkle In The Eye? Make These Homemade Birthday Cards!

Birthday Cards· Card Making Techniques· Gallery

I was thrilled to make some homemade birthday cards with the NEW ‘Year to Celebrate’ stamp set (September-December 2023 Mini Catalog). I’m sure you’re like me and always need birthday cards. I absolutely love the font on the sentiment in this stamp set!

I chose to use the Faux Shutter Card design that’s so popular these days and add some heat embossing. These birthday cards are surprisingly easy to make and so cheerful! You’ll love learning how to make both versions as you follow along with the video.

Got cardstock scraps and need a way to use them? You can cut some pieces and fit them back together to a white cardstock layer cut 3-3/4” x 5”. You can trim any excess—watch the video for the visual.

Once you have the base layer completed for your homemade birthday card you can apply embossing powder, stamp in Versamark, and then heat emboss with white powder.

I have a free download below for you so you can make these cute and easy Birthday cards any time you want!
