Want to Be Sending Smiles With A Beautiful Homemade Birthday Card?

Birthday Cards· Gallery

31 May

Learn how to make a homemade birthday card with the Stampin’ Up! Sending Smiles stamp set. I’m sharing cards for other occasions too.

Everyone loves to smile right? I know I do and it makes me feel good to make others smile! It’s only natural that I wanted to use the NEW ‘Sending Smiles’ bundle to make a homemade Birthday card.

The bright new In Colors also make me smile.

Let’s start off with Sending Birthday Wishes with a homemade birthday card. I also used the Tea Boutique Cards and Envelopes.

Orchid Oasis is such a pretty color and goes so well with the other new In Colors, Strawberry Sorbet, Daffodil Delight, and Parakeet Party!

Is the ‘Sending Smiles’ on YOUR wish list? Did I entice you to make this homemade birthday card? Share your thought; I love reading them!

Homemade Card #2

I decided to make some Bluebonnets on card #2; it’s a Texas thing and mingled in are some Indian Paintbrush using the ‘Wisteria Wishes’ Stamp Set! In the Spring you see these wildflowers all along the highway! You could easily change the greeting and make this as a homemade birthday card too!

This picture hangs in my dining area. The Bluebonnets, Indian Paintbrush, and windmill all make me smile! Every time I see a windmill I think of my sister-in-law, Linda who passed away. She always wanted a windmill and loved them so much.

It’s a Texas thing to put your kids, or grandkids, in this case, in a Bluebonnet field & take pics. We checked for snakes first! Baylor had so much fun that day!

Helpful Tip: When using the Dots and Spots die it’s best to use self-adhesive sheets; adding any other adhesive would be a challenge with all those holes.

How fun is this homemade card? I used the new ‘Dots and Spots Die’ to cut the Parakeet Party Cardstock layer! It would also make a great homemade birthday card–so bright and cheerful.
